The inflammatory pain in the gluteal area that I wrote about in October and November has for the most part subsided now. I’d say things had calmed down a lot by December 1. I had taken the Prednisone, and that helped. But, I think the biggest help was really time. You really just have to ride it out and try not to do anything that will intensify the inflammation. That means settle down with some of the exercise program.

So, I’ve gone through these flare-ups before and I’ll go through them again.

It’s not fun. It can even be scary.

But, the important thing for me to remember is that they do end. They’re flare-ups.
