If I were to try and be as specific as possible about the pain that’s been lingering…what I refer to as a flare-up…I’d say the pain is at the top of the butt…just a bit below the belt line and concentrated a bit more on the left side than the right.

What search would I do?

I did search: pain right at the top of the butt

What sort of information does that lead to?

Well, talk about bruising…muscle strain…

Muscle strain seems like something for me to think about..

From Healthline

Your buttocks are made up of three muscles: the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and gluteus minimus. You can strain one of these muscles if you stretch it so much that it tears.

This can cause:

  • swelling

  • tenderness

  • stiffness and trouble moving the affected muscle

THERE ARE SOME OTHER POSSIBILITIES that I haven’t given much thought to!

Things like Piriformis Syndrome and Sacroiliac joint problems and inflammation…
